On Friday, January 17, 2025, the Indonesian Magnetic Society (IMS) successfully held a sharing session titled “Strategies for Building and Managing a Strong & Productive Research Group for International Publications” featuring Prof. Dr. Eng. Edi Suharyadi, S.Si., M.Si., M.Eng (Professor of Materials Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada). The event was conducted online via Zoom Meeting starting from 1:00 PM (WIB) and was moderated by ST. Ulfawanti Intan Subadra, a graduate student from Universitas Negeri Malang.

Prof. Edi Suharyadi emphasized that cultivating strong research habits within the group is crucial for developing a productive and high-performing research team. He highlighted that producing impactful international scientific publications requires not only scientific excellence but also strong collaboration among faculty members, students, researchers, collaborators, and relevant stakeholders.

The session attracted enthusiastic participation from academics and researchers across Indonesia. IMS hopes that such events will continue to serve as a source of inspiration and guidance for young scholars in building and managing successful and sustainable research groups.
