2-3 June 2022, Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of Indonesian Magnetic Society (IMS) committees, We would like to announce that our meeting, International Conference on Magnetism and Its Applications (ICMIA) which was scheduled in November 2021 will be held on June 2nd-3rd, 2022 in Bali.
ICMIA is an extension of a long history of magnetic meeting in Indonesia, namely Seminar Bahan Magnet (SMM) or Magnetic Material Seminar. The last SMM was the 9th meeting held on 2015 in Palembang organized by Indonesian Magnetic Club and hosted by Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) – Sriwijaya University. The first ICMIA in 2019 was the first international conference organized by IMS and Department of Physics – Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. The ICMIA will be scheduled as biennial meeting of IMS. The IMS as a form of legal professional organization of Indonesian Magnetic Club was established in 2018.
The ICMIA 2022 invites all IMS members including the students to participate and share their research related on magnetism and magnetic materials. The conference will facilitate an exchange information to get acquainted and strengthen collaboration among participants. The conference will also be attended by invited speakers who are competence in their fields to present the current leading issue on magnetism and its applications. It is our main concern that during the pandemic, the conference will follow the public health guideline and will apply bubble system.
We hope that the conference will be a fruitful event and we look forward to seeing you in Bali.
On behalf of the ICMIA committee
A. A. Nugroho
